TODAY'S COURSE CONDITIONS

Hi everyone.
Welcome to the best course in Auckland - well that's what we reckon anyway. It is normally in such good condition that it deserves that title. We have completed coring and the greens are now back to normal. If you are thinking of a great golfing experience then you need to come here. The fairways are hard and fast with cooch now prevailing to retain a green colour throughout the summer. You would be missing a great golfing experience if you decided against playing here.

During the winter months we feel we are now one of the dry winter Auckland golf courses and not many can say that. New paths and improved drainage has seen to that. In summer the promotion of a unique cooch grass has enabled the fairways to have grass most of the year around.

As a consequence there is absolutely no reason for not coming out to play your golf at Pukekohe - be it for casual or more serious golf and we are playable all year around.

We also have a great membership offers at present for Full Playing and Midweek memberships to give you access to the best value and golfing experience possible. We also have a Limited Membership giving you a handicap and 8 rounds of golf at Pukekohe for those who are time precious.

Ian, the Board, staff and members welcome you and would love you to come along to what we believe (and others agree) is the best value and driest golf course in Auckland. We are easy to find so contact us to make a tee booking. Check the weather as well - we know what Auckland's weather is like!! Speaking of that - we dont worry too much what the weather is as our course can be played on all year around. We dont get boggy or blown away in winter and the course can be played all year around. How many Auckland courses can do that? Not many so come and see for yourself.

Our latest membership offer includes a 2 for 1 membership until 31st August 2013 or $1,225 until 31st August 2014. This compares with our normal membership of $1,225 Full Playing subscription per year. We will also affer a similar arrangement for our Midweek at $1,010. Check with the office for more details but all are a one-payment arrangement. These subs provide significantly better value against all similar clubs in Auckland.

The course is the "Hidden Jewel of Auckland" and the varied tee options will challenge golfers of all abilities. Whilst playing you will be surrounded by mature trees, lakes with fountains, a river and countless wildlife to keep you company. An experience not to miss.

Afterwards a cool drink at the bar, appetising food from the cafe or a golf lesson from our PGA trained professional will make improvements so that the next time will be an even better experience for you.

For those who are lucky to be a member of the Pukekohe Golf Club you join millions world-wide who are united by the unique sport of golf and who maintain strong golf club loyalties. You are also a part of a great family of golf clubs, as we are affiliated with both N.Z. Golf and Auckland Golf.

Further, if you wish to join us when staying in Auckland or NZ then contact us on fun@pukekohegolf.co.nz and we will sort out your golf options while you are here. We are close to the airport and, once here, you will not regret it and you will be on the way to everywhere south of central Auckland City. There is the Coromandel, Bay of Plenty, Waikato and the rest of the North Island and New Zealand just down the road and we are only 5 minutes off the southern motorway at Exit 461.

Local accommodation is readily available.

The Pukekohe Golf Club, has a busy calendar of golf competitions and social events that are set out in club Members Handbook that is published every year and given to each player. Each month the members will see all updates on the website.
