A Proud History Since 1912

Pukekohe Golf Club has been part of the Franklin community for more than a century. Established in 1912, the club began with a small group of passionate golfers who shared a vision of creating a welcoming place where people could enjoy the game together.

Over the decades, the club has grown and evolved, developing into the thriving golfing community it is today. The course has been shaped and refined through years of dedication from members, volunteers, and staff, transforming the land into the beautiful 18-hole parkland course enjoyed by golfers today.

Set across rolling countryside just south of Auckland, the course blends natural landscape with thoughtful design, featuring mature trees, scenic water features, and a layout that challenges golfers while remaining enjoyable for players of all levels.

Throughout its history, Pukekohe Golf Club has remained true to its roots — a friendly, welcoming club where both competition and camaraderie are celebrated.

Today, the club continues to honour its heritage while embracing the future, offering modern facilities, a vibrant membership community, and the social hub of Parklands Café, Bar & Eatery.

Course Manager

Hayden Williams

Born and raised in Pukekohe, I have been part of the club team for the past five years and brings more than 10 years of experience in turf management and construction.

A qualified Turf Manager, I began my career in turf construction and then found a passion for turf management, gained my level 4 qualification as a turf manager. This has progressed through the industry by developing a strong understanding of course maintenance, turf construction, drainage, irrigation, and golf course improvement projects.

I lead a dedicated team of five staff, and I am passionate about delivering excellent playing conditions for members and visitors year-round.

Outside of the club, I support the local Pukekohe sporting community, with strong interests in rugby and cricket. I am a proud father of three boys and enjoy spending time with my young family.

When time allows, I enjoy playing golf socially and appreciate the challenge of maintaining a course that provides an enjoyable experience for golfers of all abilities.

A BIG THANKS TO PUKEKOHE GOLF CLUB

Just under two weeks ago, we ran the fourth edition of the BaaBaaz Charity Celebrity Golf Day at the Pukekohe Golf Club, and it was an outstanding success.

The course, the new facilities, Tim, Hamish and the team were outstanding. It was a big call for us to move the event to Pukekohe, but we are now very pleased we did.
