Weekly Golf Competitions
Pukekohe Golf Club hosts weekly competitions for members, offering regular opportunities to enjoy competitive golf in a friendly and welcoming environment. Open to players of all abilities, these competitions bring the club community together to test their skills, improve their game, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes club golf so rewarding.

Pennants
Each year Pukekohe Golf Club enters men’s and women’s teams into the Auckland Golf Pennant programme.
The women’s programme includes three teams who play both midweek and on Sundays.
The season runs from January through until April each year. Anyone wishing to be considered for Pennants should express their interest to the respective club captains by the commencement of club champs (4 October). Notices will also go out from the office and will be placed on notice boards at the club. Following Club Champs a trial will be held to determine final selections.
Please ensure you are available for all of the Pennant season. If you have an engagement you can’t break during Pennant season please notify the manager or selectors in advance.
All players will be expected to uphold the values of PGC.
Men's
Pennants
The men’s programme currently sees PGC with teams in Bissett Shield (the top division) and Championship 1. These teams are aimed at players on low single-figure handicaps. Additionally, PGC has two teams entered in Handicap Pennants, where player’s handicaps typically range from single-figure to 18 handicap.
Women's
Pennants
The women’s programme currently has Betty Faesen Challenge Shield (if we can get enough players). Weekend Women Section. A Grade Week Pennants. Midweek 18H Match Play Section and the 9 Hole Triangular Interclub. The Pennants played during the week are managed by Anne Woodward and the Weekend Pennants are managed by Michele Higgins. If anyone is interested in playing pennants, please contact either of these ladies. Betty Faesen season typically runs from January to end of March. All other Pennants season is between March to end of May.
