Head Chef
Meet Shah
A passionate and driven Head Chef, I bring a modern and confident approach to dining at Parklands. Originally from Ahmedabad, India, and now based in New Zealand for over 12 years, I have led multiple kitchens, built strong teams and delivered high-quality, consistent food. Known for my operational excellence and creative menu development, I focus on fresh, approachable dishes that balance flavour, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
Bar Manager
Kyle Hikatangata
Tēnā koutou, ko Kyle Hikatangata tōku ingoa, nō Takanini ahau. Kyle is the Bar Supervisor at Parklands, bringing over 15 years of experience across bars, cafés, and nightclubs throughout Auckland. Holding a Diploma in Hospitality Management, he is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, training staff, and creating innovative and exciting drinks.
Kyle thrives in high-pressure environments and is dedicated to maintaining high standards while fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere for both new and returning customers. He takes pride in contributing to the success of the venues he works in and is excited about the future direction of Parklands, with a strong belief in its potential to become the number one local destination.
Food & Beverage Manager
Stephen Garth
Stephen has over 30 years experience in hospitality, predominantly in luxury hotels. He spent 21 years in London working for Davy’s Wine Bars and Hilton and IHG Hotels. More recently, he was the Banquet Manager at Cordis Hotel Auckland, and brings a wealth of experience in event management and planning.
